We have maintained our silver partner status with Safe Software, the manufacturer of FME! See what were the criteria that we had to meet and how we have developed our FME competences over the past year.
As a certified FME partner, we are constantly working on the development of our knowledge and skills in the scope of the use of the Platform, as well as data processing and integration.
This year has been full of accomplishments in this area – our employees have earned another 10 FME certificates (FME Professional, FME Server, FME Business) confirming top competencies in the use of the FME platform.
Currently, our team of certified FME experts includes 11 persons, who can boast a total of 19 FME certificates (Certified FME Professional, Certified FME Server Professional, FME Trainer, FME Business Professional).
This year is also another one in which we entered new industries – we now have more than 120 customers in 9 countries in industries such as telecommunications, energy, architecture/geodesy. We also provide services to a range of government offices and institutions.
We are particularly happy to see a growing interest in FME among companies from completely different sectors than before, e.g. marketing and sales support, real estate, aviation, education, and research & development as well as the events industry. This is a clear signal that business is becoming more serious about data management and is beginning to see the potential and role of integration platforms in this process.
What criteria did we have to meet to become a Safe Software partner?
In order to obtain partner status, we had to show a sufficient number of FME licenses sold and renewed. However, that is not all, Safe Software also takes into account:
- Developing FME skills among our employees
- Promoting Safe Software’s solutions in the market, among others, through activities such as: conducting webinars, trainings, workshops or conferences.
Globema has been an official partner of FME in Poland and Romania since 2010, and as of 2018, we hold the Silver Partner status.
