On 18-19 April 2023, we participated in the FTTH conference in Madrid, the largest meeting of the fiber optics technology sector.
Every year, the FTTH Conference, organized by FTTH Council Europe, brings together leading companies and organizations from the fiber optics technology sector.
This year, the event attracted more than 3,000 visitors from over 1,000 companies from 100 countries. Numerous presentations (delivered by more than 150 experts) and 18 panel sessions addressed the most pressing topics in the FTTH industry.
During the two-day exhibition accompanying the conference, we presented our original solutions for supporting the capture, and maintenance of network data, including the facilitation of effective field service management:
The platform helps to acquire network information from multiple sources (paper files, data collected in the field, data in digital format) needed to feed the network inventory system and create a digital network asset model.
It supports the fast updating and maintenance of data in an operating network inventory system, as well as the seamless migration of network information when networks of several operators are merged.
Globema’s FSM system, GeoTask helps to automate and optimize the allocation of tasks to technicians as well as monitor work progress in real time. It supports network providers in effectively planning and managing multiple field tasks. It will work well for both network maintenance tasks and customer assignments.
We presented a platform used to build specialized mobile applications for collecting network data. These applications are tailored by us according to the individual requirements of the company or an individual process.
Voice-controlled and using image recognition and intelligent measurements, they help to facilitate and accelerate the collection of high-quality data in the field.
The FTTH conference was also a great opportunity to exchange experiences and opinions with potential as well as our existing customers.
The next edition of the FTTH conference will take place on March 19-21 in Berlin 2024.
