We are happy to announce that we still belong to the exclusive group of only 40 companies in Poland, representing various industries, with the formal status of Research and Development Centre. A few days ago, Globema’s board received an official letter from the Ministry of Development confirming the status.
At the moment we’re running several R&D projects:
- 4RES system within the PROGO project – it is used for area-based forecasting of energy production from renewable sources
- GlobIQ – an IT platform that supports data collection on spatially dispersed objects using artificial intelligence to understand images and speech. The project is co-financed by the European Union from the funds of the Regional Operational Program of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship for the years 2014-2020.
As a Research and Development Centre we cooperate with leading technical universities and scientific centres, including the Technical Universities of Łódź and Warsaw, the University of Warsaw and the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.
Globema has been on the market since 1997 and obtained the status of a Research and Development Centre in 2012.
